Who are People 4 People?

At People 4 People our goal is to enable people who have a learning disability, physical disability, a mental health support need or who are older, to live as independently as possible.

We help people to take more control of their lives by enabling people who have a support need to employ their own carer, known as a Personal Assistant.

Working in partnership with the London Boroughs of Havering, Redbridge, Waltham Forest and Barking & Dagenham, our aim is to really empower individuals, enabling them to take charge of their own lives, by giving them more choice and control over when, how and by whom their support is delivered.

People4People is a matching service designed to connect employers with personal assistants, so they can work together to satisfy their individual needs. We will assess the needs and requirements of both parties, and support them through the recruitment and employment process, providing optional ongoing support throughout the life of the PA employment.

As a division of Outlook Care, a not-for-profit organisation with over twenty years’ experience of working with people who have a support need, we are experts at recruiting support staff, and have seen first hand how important it is for the support relationship to be built on the things that really matter to the person.

We have used our experience to create a service designed to help match individuals who have support needs, with professional carers seeking employment, and to make every step of the recruitment and employment process as easy and straight forward as possible.
