Our responsibility to you as a Personal Assistant
Our purpose is to introduce you to customers who may choose to employ you. We will achieve this outcome by making introductions and supporting you to make decisions. We will provide you with support to ensure that your training remains relevant and your relationship with your customer is positive, delivering outcomes to your employment that you choose.
Our standards of service:
We aim to treat all our personal assistants in a way that meets their individual needs. We will:
- Be friendly, fair and helpful
- Treat you with respect
- Behave professionally
- Ensure our offices and working spaces are accessible to you
- Respect your privacy by meeting you in private if this is necessary
- Wear name badges and identify ourselves to you formally
- Be trained to meet your specific needs
- See you on time if you have an appointment
- Book an appointment with you as soon as possible if you need one
We will communicate with you either by phone, by letter, in person or by e mail. We will ensure that all communication is:
- In a format that is easy for you to understand
- In a language that you understand
- Supported by technology if this helps i.e. hearing loops, pictorial computer software etc
- Specific in providing information on actions that you need to take or that we need to take and provide you with contact details from us on who you can contact for further help
- Responded to you within 10 working days of receipt – if we cannot reply in this timescale we will confirm with you when we can and who is dealing with response
Our expectations from you
We will expect from you a number of commitments when using our service, including:
- Reasonable behaviour, treating our staff with respect, consideration and politeness
- Keeping us informed of changes to your appointments – being on time or making alternative arrangements in advance
- Keeping us updated on your circumstances when moving home, getting a new phone number, e mail address etc
